Zurich North America on Thursday said New York-based Lillian Labbat has been named head of trade credit and political risk, effective immediately.
She succeeds David Anderson, who left Zurich in January to pursue other opportunities, according to a Zurich spokesman.
Ms. Labbat will be responsible for the political risk and single risk trade credit underwriting teams in the Americas, London, Continental Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, Zurich North America said in a statement.
Previously, Ms. Labbat was managing partner and co-founder of Metis Markets, a financial advisory firm.
Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. saw some substantial changes in 2017, following Mario Greco’s return as CEO in the prior year, including a reorganized North American commercial business and several senior executive comings and goings.
