London-based law firm Clyde & Co on Monday said it will be adding 15 insurance and litigation attorneys from San Francisco-based law firm Sedgwick L.L.P., as well as other attorneys.
Sedgwick is closing its doors in early January, according to news reports. One of the Sedgwick partners joining Clyde & Co — Irvine, California-based Ralph Guirgis — had no comment, and a Clyde & Co spokeswoman had no comment.
In addition to the 15 partners, the group will also include more than 65 other attorneys and staff, Clyde & Co said in a statement.
In addition to Mr. Guirgis, other Irvine-based attorneys joining Clyde & Co. are Margaret M. Holm, Curtis D. Parvin and Sean R. Simpson, according to the statement.
Los Angeles-based partners joining the firm are Craig S. Barnes, Alison K. Beanum, James J.S. Holmes and Susan Koehler Sullivan.
Also joining are San Francisco-based Bruce D. Celebrezze, Brian D. Harrison, Martin J. O’Leary and Alexander E. Potente.
