Ascot promotes Johnson to COO, North America insurance

Ascot Group Ltd. said Thursday that Elizabeth Johnson has been promoted to the newly created role of chief operating officer, North America insurance.
Ms. Johnson, based in New York, will continue to report to Jon Zaffino, group president, and will work to enhance underwriting capabilities, data strategy, operational resilience and integration, Ascot said in a statement.
Ms. Johnson joined Ascot in 2020 as chief underwriting officer, North America, and prior to that was managing director at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.
