BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Costa Rica declares national emergency after ransomware attack

Costa Rica’s President Rodrigo Chavez declared a national emergency on May 8 in response to a long-running ransomware attack on the country’s IT systems since April by the Russian hacking group Conti, Gizmodo reported citing Bleeping Computer. The ransomware attack has forced the shutdown of digital monetary services in Costa Rica since April 18 and has affected the country’s exports, customs and tax collecting services. The hackers have demanded a $10 million ransom and have stolen over 670GB of data.
