Origami Risk LLC, a Chicago-based insurance technology firm, on Wednesday announced the launch of new online occupational health tools to support industrial hygiene and ergonomics initiatives.
Origami’s new tools will enable safety professionals to identify and group workers with similar exposures based on location, job, task, process, equipment operated and other factors. By assessing groups of workers with common exposures, safety teams can target resources to workers with the highest risk levels.
With the new software, safety teams can evaluate health and safety risks for individuals, including ergonomic risk, validate or refine workplace risk assessments, and evaluate findings against industry or regulatory standards.
Origami Risk LLC, a risk management and insurance software technology firm, has split its business into two operating divisions, one focused on claims, policy and underwriting software, the other on its traditional RMIS business, as it looks to tap future opportunities for growth.
