D&O insurance pricing up by 130% in UK

A report found that commercial directors and officers liability insurance pricing increased by an average of 130% in the U.K. in 2020, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic and AXA XL’s withdrawal from the London commercial D&O market, Captive International reported. The report by U.K.-based Marsh JLT Specialty also said that the highest average D&O pricing hike was seen in the energy sector at 209%.
