The American Association of Safety Professionals has developed a new risk assessment technical tool aimed at helping safety professionals better protect workers, the association announced Tuesday.
ASSP TR-31010-2020 Risk Management: Techniques for Safety Practitioners provides expert guidance on the selection, modification, combination and application of 50 risk management techniques used to help improve the way risk and uncertainty are managed, and includes both basic techniques for industry newcomers and complex methods for seasoned safety professionals, according to the Itasca, Illinois-based ASSP. The techniques are meant to apply to a range of occupational settings and situations.
