Aspen Re snags executive from Axis Re

Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. named Scott Kreuzer senior managing director, Americas, at Aspen Reinsurance Co., effective May 4, Aspen Insurance Holdings said in a statement Monday.
Mr. Kreuzer joins Aspen Re from Axis Reinsurance Co. where he was senior vice president, head of casualty North America, since August 2018, the statement said.
He will be based in Aspen’s New York and Rocky Hill, Connecticut, offices and report to Christian Dunleavy, chief underwriting officer, Aspen Re and CEO of Aspen Bermuda Ltd., the statement said.
In this newly created role, Mr. Kreuzer will lead the team at Aspen Re America and continue to develop the group’s North America reinsurance property, casualty and specialty platform, the statement said.
