Mozambique floods claim 117 lives, affect 200,000 people

Mozambique's National Disasters Management Institute has said that the death toll from recent floods has reached 117, Xinhua reports.

The disaster that hit the country's central and northern provinces has affected 200,000 people, said INGC. "In the agricultural sector, 33,700 hectares of planted land are under water," INGC said in its communique.
