Navigant Consulting Inc. will release a legal resource platform to help clients navigate the e-discovery process.
The cloud-based system will offer a legal process management module to coordinate, measure, document and audit workflow, and a legal hold notification module, to manage and track the process of directing custodians and data stewards to preserve data, the company said Wednesday in a statement.
Later this year, Navigant plans to add two additional modules: legal hold-in place, to lock down data in secure systems and move data from insecure systems to safe repositories; and data mapping, to identify potentially relevant data by system, custodian, need and risk profile.
“There is tremendous pressure on legal and compliance professionals to manage the cost, access and security of data that continues to proliferate in volume and form,” Jeff Green, head of Navigant’s disputes and investigations practice, said in the statement.
Pricing will depend on factors specific to each client and will be based on a monthly subscription charge. For more information, contact Erik Post, managing director and the leader of the disputes and investigations technology solutions team, at erik.post@navigant.com or 312-583-3641.
