Coca-Cola to receive World Captive Forum Award of Excellence

The Coca-Cola Co. has been named recipient of the World Captive Forum's next Award of Excellence.
Laurie Solomon, director of risk management, and Stacy Apter, director of global benefits financing and asset management, will accept the award on behalf of Atlanta-based Coca-Cola in a ceremony Jan. 29 during the 22nd annual World Captive Forum conference in Aventura, Fla.
The WCF's annual Award of Excellence recognizes the parent of a single-owner captive and its representatives for thought leadership on the global use of a captive insurance company; contributions to the enterprise's strategy and objectives and those of businesses in the field; and contributions to the risk and insurance profession, especially with regard to the use of captive insurance programs.
