On Nov. 10, the finance committee of Edwardsville, Ill., voted in favor of renewing employees’ health insurance and has signed up Cigna Corp. as the new preferred provider organization, The Edwardsville Intelligencer reported. As a result, the city employees may have to include a 5% hike in health insurance into their 2021 budgets and consider about $4 increase in the amounts of employee and spouse costs and more than $2 with children.
