Ex-NBA player Will Bynum sentenced in insurance fraud scandal

Former Detroit Pistons player, Will Bynum, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for his involvement in an NBA insurance fraud scandal, ESPN reports. Bynum was convicted of conspiring to make false statements related to NBA players who submitted false dental and medical claims to the NBA Players' Health and Benefit Welfare Plan. Over 20 people, many of them former NBA players, have been convicted in the case.
