Nearly one-third of businesses do not have a cyber incident response plan: Survey

A survey by U.K.-based cyber security firm Axial Systems Ltd. found that nearly a third of C-level executives of local firms do not have a response plan for cyber attacks with more than half of respondents saying that cyber security is the responsibility of the company's IT department, SC Media reported. About one-third of respondents said that there was a separate security department in place; however, more than half of those said that the department did not have a dedicated chief security officer.
