Guy Carpenter hires global head of sales from Willis Re

Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, the reinsurance business of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., snagged Jeffrey Livingston from Willis Re and named him to the newly created role of global head of sales, effective Sept. 1.
Mr. Livingston will be responsible for leading all of Guy Carpenter’s sales activities and developing commercial strategies. He will also join the Guy Carpenter executive committee, the broker said in a statement Thursday.
Most recently, he was vice chair, North America at Willis Re.
Mr. Livingston will report to Peter Hearn, president and CEO of Guy Carpenter.
The move follows other recent executive changes at Guy Carpenter.
