Aon launches professional employer, staffing group

Aon PLC Monday announced the launch of its Professional Employer Organizations & Staffing Solutions Group industry practice in North America.
The new practice will focus on insurance products and services for the professional employer organization and staffing industry, Aon said in a statement.
The group is led by Tampa-based Ed Vargas, executive vice president of PEO & staffing solutions at Aon, along with Orlando, Florida-based Scott Allman, managing director. Both report to Dallas-based Jerry Ferreira, south regional managing director.
The new practice will also work closely with Chicago-based John Griffin, industry practice leader of North America at Aon, the statement said.
