According to U.K.-based data analytics firm GlobalData PLC, Mexico’s general insurance industry is expected to be worth $26.1 billion in 2026, up from $18.2 billion in 2021, ITIJ reported. The 7.5% annualized growth would be driven by property and personal accident and health insurance lines due to large infrastructure and construction projects coming online, increasing frequency of natural catastrophies and increased uptake of health insurance after COVID-19.
