Mauritius-based Neema Insurance Managing Agency has partnered with reinsurer ASR Re to launch a new political violence terrorism reinsurance product for small and medium enterprises in Africa, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Reuters. ASR Re is the Bermudian subsidiary of pan-African reinsurer Africa Specialty Risk Group, which will provide Neema with the capacity to underwrite political violence terrorism risks.
