Cyber insurance gap remains ‘disproportionately high’

A report by Germany-based Munich Reinsurance Co. said that cyber insurance gap remains “disproportionately high,” Reinsurance News reported. The report said that the increase in uptake of cyber insurance is not commensurate with the growing frequency and severity of cyber attacks, leaving large insurance gaps, which are made worse by inadequate underwriting capacity and a mismatch between risk awareness and implementation of protection measures.
