Moldovan insurers’ premiums down nearly 11%

According to Moldova’s National Bureau of Statistics, insurers’ gross written premiums fell by nearly 11% year-on-year to 1.45 billion Moldovan lei ($81 million) in 2020, SeeNews reported. Insurers posted a pre-tax profit of MDL109.7 million against a pre-tax loss of MDL26.4 million in the year-ago period.
