Storm claims surpass $400 million

The Insurance Council of Australia expects claims related to storms that hit the country's east coast in February to have reached $677 million Australia ($416 million), Artemis reports. Heavy rains and storms hit the Australian east coast from Feb. 4 to Feb. 10 and caused widespread damage. Nearly 67% of the claims are related to property, 27% contents and 6% motor.
