Inga Beale to join board of Clyde & Co

Law firm Clyde & Co has named former Lloyd’s of London CEO Inga Beale as an independent board member, the equivalent of nonexecutive director, to its management board.
Also named an independent board member was Stephen Chipman, former U.S. CEO of Chicago-based accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP.
Ms. Beale was Lloyd’s CEO between 2014 and 2018.
London-based Clyde & Co said in a statement this is the first time such a position has been created at the firm.
