To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

European firms concerned about rise in climate-change related losses

Several European companies said that climate-change related catastrophes are causing production and sales losses following wildfires in Sweden, drought in Germany, tornadoes in Italy and floods in France, Bloomberg reported. Germany-based chemical company BASF S.E said that low river levels have disrupted its production which is likely to cost the company up to €200 million ($227 million). The French insurance association said that flash floods in the southwest region in October caused €200 million in insured losses.
