TigerRisk names capital markets executive

TigerRisk Partners LLC has named Stephen Fromm to the newly created position of vice chairman of TigerRisk Capital Markets and Advisory, the company said in a statement Monday.
Mr. Fromm’s appointment was announced by Tony Ursano, president of TigerRisk Partners, the statement said.
Mr. Fromm will act as a senior investment banker focusing on insurance industry mergers and acquisitions, raising capital and strategic advice, the statement said.
He has been in private practice with Star Mountain Capital LLC of New York since June 2016, advising start-up and established fintech and financial services companies, the statement said.
Previously, Mr. Fromm was managing director and vice chairman of financial institutions investment banking at Deutsche Bank in New York.
“Steve Fromm is one of the most experienced and skilled insurance investment bankers in the industry today,” Mr. Ursano said in the statement. “He is a sharp, strategic thinker and an invaluable addition as we continue to deliver unique and integrated risk, capital and strategic advice to our clients and prospects.”
