BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Marsh boosts captive practice leadership

Marsh LLC on Wednesday said it has named two veteran executives to newly created positions with its Marsh Captive Solutions practice.

Julie Boucher, currently Americas practice leader for Marsh Captive Solutions, will assume direct leadership of Marsh’s Bermuda, Cayman and Barbados captive offices in the role of Islands practice leader, effective Jan. 1, the brokerage said in a statement. She will be based in Bermuda.

Chris Varin, currently Vermont office head for Marsh Captive Solutions, will assume oversight of Marsh’s U.S. captive management offices as U.S. practice leader, also effective Jan. 1. He will remain based in Burlington, Vermont.

Ms. Boucher and Mr. Varin will report to Ellen Charnley, president of Marsh Captive Solutions.

“By aligning Julie’s and Chris’ experience and captive expertise to these critical regions, we will be better positioned to provide enhanced services and resources to our clients,” Ms. Charnley in a statement.
