Chief underwriting officer leaves Houston International Insurance

Houston International Insurance Group Ltd. announced Monday that Susan K. Swails, executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, has left the company “to pursue other endeavors,” the insurer said in a statement.
Ms. Swails will not be immediately replaced pending an internal reorganization that is planned by year-end, an HIIG statement said.
Ms. Swails joined Houston-based HIIG in 2014 as chief underwriter of its global marine and energy division and was named chief underwriting officer last October. She began her career in the London market.
