Former Navigators exec moves to Brit Global Specialty USA

London-based Brit Ltd. said Monday that Mark Richards has been named to the newly created position of senior vice president of general liability for Brit Global Specialty USA.
Mr. Richards, who is based in Chicago, comes to BGSU from the Navigators Group Inc., where he was president of the primary casualty division, Brit said in a statement.
He will report to Doug Trainor, Brit Global Specialty USA’s executive vice president of casualty.
Last week, Navigators announced that Joe Savarese had been promoted to president, U.S. specialty primary casualty, while William Vaughn had been promoted to the division’s chief underwriting officer.
