BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Danish insurer's profit declines 30%

Danish insurer TrygVesta Forsikring A/S' net profit declined nearly 30% to 426 million Danish kroner ($70.5 million) in the first quarter from DKK 605 million in the first quarter of 2017, Fyens.dk reported. The fall in profit was driven by low investment returns and a four-fold rise in the number of claims related to pipe damage from frost. Premiums grew more than 2% year over year in the first quarter.
