Canopius snags Brit exec as CFO, names COO

Canopius A.G. said Wednesday that Laurie Davison has been appointed group chief operating officer, while Brit Ltd. COO Nigel Meyer will become Canopius’ group chief financial officer.
Mr. Meyer, who will join the group later in the year, also previously served as Brit’s CFO, Zurich-based Canopius said in a statement.
Ms. Davison was previously COO at Boston-based software firm Exari Group Inc.
Both Mr. Meyer and Ms. Davison are based in London. They are replacing Canopius’ former chief finance and operations officer, Paul Cooper.
