BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Regulator to tighten check on insurers

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission said that it plans to tighten regulation of insurers' shareholders and take action against poor corporate governance and risky capital management, Ecns.cn reported. The action plan includes preventing systemic risk and irrational mergers and acquisitions, cracking down on illegal businesses and taking more effective measures against foreign insurers that fail to meet solvency requirements.
