Economic growth to fuel insurance demand in Asia Pacific: Moody's

Qian Zhu, vice president at U.S.-based ratings firm Moody's Investors Service Inc., said that insurance demand is expected to increase in the Asia-Pacific region in 2018 driven by steady economic growth, Asia Insurance Review reported. "The solvency positions of insurers across Asia Pacific remain solid despite increasing capital requirements, while product margins and asset liability management have improved," Mr. Zhu said.
