Zurich North America on Monday said it has named David Putz to lead its alternative markets business, effective Jan. 1.
He will replace Schaumburg, Illinois-based Kathleen Savio, who will become CEO of Zurich North America on that date, the Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. unit said in a statement.
Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Mr. Putz is currently head of direct markets and programs for Zurich North America. He will report to Ms. Savio in his new role.
Zurich North America’s alternative markets comprises four major units, according to the statement: direct markets (automotive), programs, group captives and crop.
“Throughout his career with us, David has continually demonstrated unrelenting customer focus and a deep commitment to delivering growth and profitability,” Ms. Savio said in the statement.
Dave Anderson has been named global head of credit and political risk at Zurich North America Commercial, Schaumburg, Illinois-based Zurich North America announced Tuesday.
