Venkatesh Chakravarty, chief executive of Germany-based General Reinsurance A.G.'s India unit, said that the reinsurer is exploring opportunities in property/casualty segment and help its clients develop new products, distribution channels and enter new market segments, Bloomberg reported. "Given the under-penetration of insurance, the growth momentum is expected to continue for both the insurance and reinsurance industry," Mr. Chakravarty said.
