BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

IAIS issues paper on regulation of mutuals, cooperatives

Switzerland-based International Association of Insurance Supervisors has issued a paper on the regulation of mutuals, cooperatives and community-based organizations, Middle East Insurance Review reports. The purpose of the paper is to provide guidance on the way Insurance Core Principles could be used to remove barriers to regulation and supervision, while at the same time ensuring appropriate policyholder protection.
