Analysts have said that the recent acquisitions made by global insurance and reinsurance brokers in Nigeria would raise the standard of business in the country, BusinessDay reported. U.K.-based insurance broker Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. acquired France-based counterpart Gras Savoye S.A, which has a subsidiary registered in Nigeria. Meanwhile, U.S.-based professional services firm Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. has purchased a stake in Nigeria-based broker Femi Johnson and Co. Ltd. Analysts said the development would raise the standard of business and service will improve with innovations and investment in technology.
