Algerian insurers are likely to introduce floor tariffs for premium rates after the validation of a framework agreement by the country's Ministry of Finance, Middle East Insurance Review reported, citing Financial Afrik. The move is aimed at preventing dumping. The majority of local insurers have signed the framework agreement and are waiting for the approval of Algeria's insurance regulator, the Insurance Supervisory Commission.
