BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurers slow to pay Kaikoura quakes claims

The Insurance Council of New Zealand said that less than 30% of the value of insurance claims related to the November 2016 Kaikoura earthquakes has been paid out so far, NZHerald.co.nz reported. Total private insurance claims for the quakes amounted to nearly $2 billion New Zealand ($1.5 billion), while NZD 522 million has been paid out so far.
