A study by U.S.-based security solutions firm Arbor Networks Inc. found that Brazil suffered an average of 21 denial-of-service cyber attacks every month in 2016 and was the main target of these attacks in Latin America, Nearshore Americas reported. Cyber attacks in the country increased 44% year over year in 2016 with the biggest victims being data centers, IT service providers, government organizations and private companies in the education sector.
