Global nonlife insurance market surpasses $2 trillion

Data from U.K.-based research firm MarketLine has showed that the global nonlife insurance market registered a compound annual growth rate of 5.4% between 2011 and 2015 to reach a value of $2.03 trillion, 1asig.ro reports. Growth was primarily driven by revenue increases in China and the United States. The market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of nearly 6% between 2015 and 2020 to reach $2.71 trillion, said an analyst at MarketLine.
