BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Fairfax seeks to form insurance JV in India

Canadian insurer Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. is seeking regulatory approval to form a general insurance joint venture in India, The Economic Times reported. Fairfax plans to create the JV with Kamesh Goyal, a former executive at German insurer Allianz S.E. Fairfax entities will own nearly 45% of the JV, while Mr. Goyal will have a 15% stake and the remaining will be held by a venture capital fund.
