The recent shutdown of Dubai International Airport following the crash-landing of an aircraft is likely to have cost the emirate around $330 million, Gulf Business reports citing newspaper Khaleej Times.

The airport was closed on Aug. 3 for over five and a half hours after an Emirates airline crash-landed. Several airlines including Indian carriers SpiceJet Ltd., Indigo and Jet Airways (India) Ltd. cancelled all their flights to and from Dubai on Aug. 4.
