French insurer AXA S.A. has said that interest in acquiring art insurance increased 37% in Mexico in 2015, reports Eleconomista.com.mx.

An AXA official said that the insurer's blanket insurance policy for artworks covers loss due to robbery, accidental falls, floods, weather phenomena, fires and earthquakes.

These policies have an insured limit of $10 million.
