A survey by India's ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd. found that most firms in the country take insurance coverage for only few risks, reported The Financial Express.
The survey found that firms across several industries that are exposed to certain risks lack adequate cover.
Only 27% of fast-moving consumer goods firms have opted for commercial general liability insurance and only 44% auto and auto ancillary firms have product liability covers.
Penetration of cyber liability risk coverage is low among firms, said the survey.
