Adrian Colosso will retire as CEO of London-based brokerage Howden U.K. at the end of July, the company announced Tuesday.
Mr. Colosso, who has worked in the insurance industry for more than 40 years, joined Howden in May 2013 and became CEO of Howden U.K. in January 2014.
He previously was CEO of Heath Lambert Ltd.
Howden is part of Hyperion Insurance Group, an employee-owned insurance and reinsurance brokerage group.
“Adrian is one of the best-known and most respected figures in the market, a reputation well-earned following his numerous achievements throughout his career,” said David Howden, CEO of Hyperion, in a statement.
“I … would like to thank him for the significant contribution he has made to our business; he has played a critical role in positioning Howden U.K. for its next phase of transformation and growth,” he said.
