Insurance Australia Group Ltd. has appointed Elizabeth Bryan as the insurer's deputy chairman, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
Brian Schwartz, IAG's chairman, said that the appointment of Ms. Bryan would provide more support to IAG's board.
"We expect her greater involvement with the company will benefit all our stakeholders," said Mr. Schwartz.
Ms. Bryan is currently the chairman of Virgin Australia Pty. Ltd. and Caltex Australia Ltd.
Ms. Bryan is also a director at Australia's Westpac Banking Corp.
