BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Heavy rains and floods hit Chile, Peru and Ecuador

Heavy downpour and floods have claimed several lives and caused huge crop damage in Peru, Chile and Ecuador, FreshPlaza reports.

The Peruvian government has declared a state of emergency in the country's Tumbes province. Overflowing rivers have severely affected the region. The Tumbes River has inundated more than 7,500 hectares of crops, homes and roads. Floods have claimed at least 25 lives in Ecuador. The Chilean government said that rains and floods in the country's Atacama, Antofagasta and Coquimbo have claimed 12 lives.
