The Risk Management Association on Tuesday said it has named Heidi K. Turley as chief financial officer.
Ms. Turley, who will be based at the association’s headquarters in Philadelphia, replaces Dwight Overturf, who will retire as CFO in August, the group said in a statement.
Ms. Turley was most recently CFO and vice president of operations for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, according to the statement.
“RMA is extremely fortunate to have not only found an experienced CFO who understands professional associations, but also to have the opportunity to smooth Heidi’s transition into RMA by having her predecessor on board for several months,” William F. Githens, the Risk Management Association’s president and CEO, said in the statement.
Insurers and brokers need to adapt to help meet the evolving needs of risk managers, according to a report released Wednesday by J.D. Power and Associates and the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc.
