BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

William Gallagher Associates offers cyber risk information clearinghouse

Reprints

William Gallagher Associates Insurance Brokers Inc. has launched the Cyber Risk Hub, an open source website for contributing and accessing information on cyber risk issues.

The Cyber Risk Hub will house information and solutions on cyber security from experts in the field, while allowing anyone with cyber knowledge to contribute to the site, the Boston-based broker said in a statement released Monday.

“We've been spending months accumulating, correcting and organizing information from dozens of sources about cyber security risks, and aggregating them to a point where this website will be a great resource for the risk management community,” Philip Edmundson, chairman and CEO at WGA, said in an interview.

Mr. Edmundson said WGA receives “a barrage of emails and messages about the latest (cyber security) cases,” but until now, no one has compiled that information into one accessible resource.

Over time, he said, WGA hopes the Cyber Risk Hub will offer information specific to certain industries.

The Cyber Risk Hub is available at www.CyberRiskHub.com.
