The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has suggested the country's Law and Justice Commission form a specialized and independent insurance tribunal in Pakistan's Islamabad city, reports The Express Tribune.
The commission says insurance courts could order to settle cases of the aggrieved policyholders quickly. The commission indicated that it has no objection to the commission's proposal of giving the insurance tribunal's powers to the district and sessions judge as an interim arrangement.
