Floods cause $105 million in damage to health ministry assets and infrastructure

Malaysia's Health Minister S. Subramaniam has said that the damage to ministry's assets and infrastructure from recent floods in the country has been pegged at 380 million Malaysian ringgits ($105 million), Daily Express reported.

More than 100 clinics and hospitals have been damaged and require repair and reconstruction, Mr. Subramaniam said, adding that equipment such as X-ray machines and dental chairs were not rescued during the floods.
